Bill's Best of 2015: ORIGINAL WORK AND HOLIDAY SHOWS

Bill's Best in the past did not include these two new categories:  Original Work and Holiday Shows.  I have added them this year for several reasons:

1.  I saw more shows this year than any year in the past.  Breaking out these 2 new categories helped me manage the biggest categories:  drama and musicals.

2.  These really are separate genres in a sense.  Holiday shows are seasonal.  They may or may not fit well with a company's regular season shows.  Holiday shows draw a somewhat different audience.  The holiday shows target families that might not be regular theater patrons.

3.  Original work is important to developing new talent, interesting scripts and unusual topics.  A company's ability to draw a younger demographic is important; new work can be helpful.

Actors, actresses, and companies are welcome to print the certificates below.  The platform for the certificates is Microsoft PowerPoint.  If the resolution is not good enough, please contact me at bilweeler@gmail.com.  I will make the original PowerPoint images available to you via email or dropbox.com.

Finally, it is inevitable that awards create fewer winners than runners up.  Please understand that the decisions are difficult, and the results are my best judgments of all the shows I saw. In my view, you are all "winners."
